I grew up in Central Illinois where my love of running started in high school cross country. While I didn’t get to actually run much those years (13 stress fractures over the 4 years), I fell hard for the sport. In college it became a stress reliever and an easy way to stay in shape. Since then, I have gradually increased my distance and speed. I love the physical and mental challenge of marathons and half marathons, but I love a shorter race too!
Now living in Indianapolis, I have a full music career teaching violin and viola, as well as directing several orchestras. When not teaching or playing, you’ll find me working at one of our local running stores.
Whenever I’m not working or running, I enjoy quality time with my partner in crime, Adam, sipping on some of his craft beer or my homemade wine.
