I wrote this blog a couple of months ago and never posted it. Instead of deleting it, thought I’d share it anyway. I’ll be back to blogging more soon. I promise!!

Greetings, Tribe!
When life becomes a bit monotonous, it’s hard to write something worth reading. With marathon training starting today (more about that next time), I thought I’d catch everybody up.
The streak is still on! As of today, I have run every day for 543 days. Sometimes on a treadmill, sometimes on the road, sometimes on a trail. Sometimes fast, sometimes CRAZY slow, but it’s happened every day.
I finished out the school year still standing on two feet. At the beginning of the school year, I decided to take Sundays off whenever possible (obviously I cannot avoid concerts, but otherwise….) and I kept my promise! As I’m already looking towards next year, my goal is to have shorter hours on Saturdays (8am – 5:30pm is rough after a full week) and to be done by 8pm on weekdays. Please send strong thoughts my way!
Oh yeah, and I got married! The day was nearly flawless! We had a little Tie the Knot Trot among the Canal in downtown Indianapolis. The weather was perfect! By the time we got to the venue, it was just starting to sprinkle. Talk about perfect timing!!! We both said “I Do,” followed by a whiskey ceremony, delicious dinner and tons of dancing! Luckily, I was prepared with running shoes so that I could literally dance the night away.
Because I managed to successfully fit into my wedding dress, the week after I didn’t pay attention to what I ate or how much I ran or worked out. I caught a bad cold and quite frankly, I was tired of being on top of everything all of the time. There was one week between our wedding and the start of marathon training, so I decided to be a little naughty and just live.
I’m trying new things this training cycle and I’m super excited! I’ll fill you in next time.
Happy Trails, Friends!!
I like that…Tie the Knot Trot. 🙂
