Greetings, Tribe!
This week has been all about recovery. After running the Chicago Marathon, I definitely needed some R&R. Now, that doesn’t mean I stop moving, but I just move a lot less. Monday through Saturday I ran only one mile and on Sunday I did an easy 6 mile run. So, what did I do with the rest of my time?
Ate some junk food…
Cooked new recipes. Pizza with a flourless, cauliflower crust, beet and bean burgers, and banana chocolate chip bundtlets…
Resting more means enjoying a few more adult beverages…
Did ALL of the laundry…
I cleaned my car….
Did some much needed yoga….
Oh! And I started a podcast! You can find this podcast almost everywhere you can find a podcast. The first couple episodes you can enjoy me working out some kinks (thank you for your patience!), but looking forward I’ll be talking to everyday people who not only run, but also have inspiring stories to tell. If you would like to share your story, please let me know and we’ll set up a time to meet and record! Later this week I’ll be posting a chat with my sister as we discuss running with Celiac Disease. Definitely worth a listen!
Happy Trails!
